Attention Xmas Shoppers

Dear all I shall be behind my very own stall this coming weekend on Sunday the 13th at Northcote Lane Market at Milgi in Cardiff. This is your opportunity to find some one off xmas gifts for your friends and family, say no to mass produced high street and come and support some crafters and makers. So Please come along for some festive cheer and some festive mulled wine drinks where I shall be selling my craft-tastic work.

Supermarket Sarah is offering an amazing vintage shopping experience for you to have a chance of shopping in reality as well as online. Craft Fair

ROLL up ROLL up come and join for some festive fun on the 6th of December for the Craft Guerrilla Christmas Market. My dear lovely Friend Alice Gabb has her own stall which I shall be offering her a helping hand. SO come and get some handmade sweater monkeys for your friends and family this christmas. They need a lovingly new home.

Peris & Corr

Yesterday I had an adventure up North and visited Peris & Corr print studio located in Snowdonia. As I'm trying to source a local print studio they gave me tips and advise to set my own print studio up. It was an exciting and an inspirational visit. They specialise within eco friendly printing and products produced in their studio in Nantlle. Lovely Job.... ...............

Lisa Stickley

I've currently been away on a Placement with lisa stickley. It was a good experience to learn and see how Lisa has developed her products into a successful company and being involved with a lovely team of workers. I'm sad that I had to make my placement a short visit.
Her shop is open 6 days a week on Landor Rd near Clapham North tube station. Go down and visit this lovely styled shop.

As being in London for a few weeks I did some visual research and came across Zoe Murphy. She sources found furniture's from car boots auctions and re-vamps them with her surface designs. Oh what love

I've been away recently and this is my excuse from the lack of posting. I've currently been away on Placements helping Anja Jane and Carol Maxwell. They are two lovely lady's who are Textiles Surface Designers currently freelancing from there shared studio with Taj Cambridge near London Fields in Hackney It was a pleasure and excellent experience working for them. Here are some visual treats for you of their work.

new tea pot 'n' a new tea cosy

Today I have been busy shopping and crafting, I found this super cool tea pot in my local charity shop today, and with it I have made another tea cosy which is for sale on my etsy shop.

This little tea cosy used to be my great anti's dress. Now converted into a stylish tea cosy it can now add style and glamour in your kitchen with this lovely floral print.

I'm sorry for the bad photos I do not have a very good camera.

Car Boot what a hoot

Yesterday I went to my local car boot, this was the first time I had a chance to check my local car boot out. I was rather surprised at how well is was. Bit on the small side but I didn't expect anything fancy in Wales. here is a record of things I bought there. Me and my mum went a bit mad on the floral tea cups and plates plus being hangover didn't help on the impulse buying.



this is my favourite from the lot. I like the bold patterns.

Half Drop

Currently I've been working on new pattern design. I've mastered the half drop repeat and here is one of the result from it. I'm wanting to move this design forward and work into it, but this is a start

Tent

Also last week I went into Tent to check out the creative talent being held at the Truman brewery in Brick Lane. I fell in love with Quirico Upholstery and the beautiful fabrics upholstery on 70's style furniture. This Family run company is based in Tuscany. Each piece of furniture has a story to tell and comes with its own passport explaining where the piece of furniture has come from and the sources of the various fabrics used.

Lowri Davies

I came across Lowri in my local art centre in Aberystwyth and there she was last week in 100% design. She's a fellow Welsh Lady based in Cardiff, her lovely surface design caught my attention and I just wanted to share her Beautiful ceramics to you.
